The Chief Executive of TANROADS, Eng. Rogatus  Mativila and Contractor M/s China Railway Seventh Group Co Ltd have signed a contract for the construction of the lower Mpiji Bridge which is 140 meters and the Connecting roads of 2.3 kilometers long on 3rd January 2023.

The area of Lower Mpiji is located between the Coastal Region an Dar es Salaam Region and during the rainy seasons the surrounding community and roads users experience floods and transport challenges. 

The second contract signed by the Chief Executive is Construction of the Kibaoni - Sitalike Road Project, Kibaoni - Mlele section of 50 kilometers to paved standard to be supervised by Consulting Engineer CROWN TECH - CONSULT 

The Contract Signing Ceremonies took place in Dar es Salaam and was witnessed by representatives for respective offices.
