This Directorate is responsible for overall preparation, coordination and budgeting control of all Agency road and bridge maintenance program as stipulated in the strategic and Business Plans. 

Departments under this Directorate are:

For monitoring and support to Lake Zone (Mwanza, Mara, Shinyanga, Kagera, Tabora , Kigoma , Geita and Simiyu).

For monitoring and support to Coastal Zone (Dar es salaam, Coast, Lindi , Mtwara and Tanga ).

For monitoring and support to Southern Highlands Zone (Mbeya, Iringa , Ruvuma , Morogoro , Rukwa , Katavi , Njombe and Songwe).

For monitoring and support to Central Zone (Dodoma, Singida , Arusha , Kilimanjaro and Manyara).

For monitoring and support to WeighBridge Operations countrywide.
